Dance has served as many purposes and have been used for different or even every occasion. There are different categories of dances such as traditional, neo-traditional and classical styles etc. Dance attracts people of all ages, also the sheer pleasure of moving to music and the physical closeness. In the process people learn more about themselves and find new friends.

Dance is magical. Rhythm is the means through which this is achieved, just as it is good for the brain, it is also good for the body. Through dance our emotions are controlled and shown. There is no dance without music. Music is understood by all, while listening to music our body tends to voluntarily move to the beat and that emotion becomes clear through dance and this has become a part of us.

For example, during GTBANK CRE8‘s performance so many people attended the event, they were cheering for the dancers, listening to music and moving to the beat as the dancers displayed numerous dances entertaining the crowd. Dance has become wildly practiced which has also been turned into a profession, examples where people attend dancing competition to show their talents by displaying their dance moves and the best rewarded. It has been taught in numerous schools such dances include ballet, hip-hop, salsa, tap etc.

What is common right now is that before every couple tie-the-knot, they go to dance school to learn moves for the big day (wedding). When you see the couple literally fighting and battling to be the best on the dance floor during their wedding, this has made it so entertaining and mesmerizing.
Dance has become a way of releasing stress, and has help people to be healthy, during dancing one tends to sweat which has become a form of exercise. Every culture has its own form of dance. Day-by-day, different types and styles of dances becomes developed and people usually watch and learn those dances especially the ones done by celebrities. So, let’s start dancing!!!!
