Kano Needs Quality Education not Bridges!

With abundant projects and policies that are detrimental to the development of Kano, the state government haa failed to sustain them, may be due to political grievances between them and their predecessors.

What we failed to understand in Kano is that our major contemporary challenge at the moment is quality education. Our educational system in Kano is terrible. While the present government is embarking on many physical projects, why can't they complete the previous administration's before embarking on new?

Rather than the ongoing construction of the underpass bridge in Kofar Ruwa, what we need now from the government is to sustainance and completion of the projects left by the previous administration especially in the education sector.

Our so called teachers in both primary and secondary schools are mostly either unqualified or even lack the basic idea of the subjects they are teaching. Imagine an English teacher with a pass in NCE, part-term for that matter. What do you expect from that kind of teachers?

This is the reason why his predecessor sponsored more than 2000 graduates and undergraduates to study various courses abroad, so that they can fill some gaps and improve the system.

This is just an angle of our educational problem, and all Kano students in one way or the other are victims of circumstance.
