Indecent dressing is the exposure of one’s body to the public. Indecent dressing is now common in our society especially among youths, all in the name of fashion. it causes great harm, distress or suffering in the society.
It has been observed that most of the rape cases are as a result of indecent dressing.
We all have cultures and religions that prohibit dressing indecently. The society especially the youths have over thrown their norms and values because of westernization. The youths copy what they see on television sets or through the social network.
Parents are not performing well in bringing up their children. Lots of parents have neglected their roles by encouraging their children to wear or purchase indecent cloths. Parents should be modest and act as role models to their children, because the way you dress, is the way you will be addressed.
The society should be of help and discourage indecent dressing in the society; the government can also be helpful especially in the higher institution, the need for dress code is very important and should be introduced to all institutions.
