Uncommonly, students often conclude that their best efforts
may not be a sure guarantee for success in a test or examination. In the face
of the daunting academic challenges posed from different courses, many students
gradually and visibly lose focus and become spouses to anxiety, fear and
pessimism with the thought of unpleasant ramifications of failure lingering in
their minds, thus disrupting maximum concentration during study.
Fear has indeed proven to be a malignant and tachycardia
factor towards the general health of its victims. In addition, the continual
despair associated with it kills any optimism or desire to learn thereby
rendering such individual as potential candidates for failure before an
examination is conducted.
How does one fights fear? The symptoms and eventual
consequence of prolonged fear can be remedied by simply dispelling or
suppressing thoughts of it to a large extent. Furthermore, developing a high
self-esteem coupled with proper preparation is sufficient enough to yield
success as attested to by many flying and successful students. Therefore, it
becomes of paramount necessity to get rid of fear, remain ever diligent and
place your trust in God almighty.
In summary, effective planning and preparation for any test
or examination should be preceded by fervent prayers and not fear. In doing so,
one can really maximize all that has been learnt and deliver his or her very
best.
