It is crystal clear that the protective devices of the nation began with the use of catapult, stones: etc. to fight enemies before the introduction of sophisticated weapons like machine guns, nuclear weapons etc. that are implemented by the armed forces to provide adequate security. The advancement also extends to all engineering disciplines such as aeronautic, marine and aerospace among others that deals with aircraft. Also ships and sub marine devices for military uses.
Moreover, telecommunication has to do with the means by which people interact among themselves either through the use of GSM or media networks. Technology plays an important role particularly in communication system, thus making the world a global village.
Nowadays, the essential use of handset is mainly on business transaction, which reduces the cost implication of transport fare and allows a successful run of business activities. However, it is generally accepted that power and energy provides a lot of advantages in the development of the nation either externally or domestically with unstable power supply; it cannot be compared with the olden ways when palm kernel and stove wool and stones were used to generated light.
In agreement with the aforementioned facts, technology has today driven our nation to a high level where necessary facilities or infrastructures needed either by a group or individuals are easily provided for, without much dependence on the neighboring countries.
More so, considering the fact technology has been of a great advantage to our Nation, application of scientific principle is of no less importance it must be highly reckoned with and considered as the red-rock or of our nation nation’s development.
