In the world of today, the unprecedented obsession of digital technology that integrated into our dear society moving through our veins like wildfire in d forest, pretending harmless to our life, couching and taking us away from necessary to unnecessary things and throwing our society into state of chaos and we are clamouring for so called technological advancement for societal development or global in general.
The increasing addiction of technology today of our generation is getting way out of hands , killing and destroying our societies and it focus, destroying relationships with families and friends abandoning our primary responsibilities as parents, students, workers and even our existence and making us exposing our ignorance overly and covertly.
The digital technological advancement today, has greedy amputed our thinking, experience, paralysing our body whenever we were not in touch with them for a while, destroying our hopes and dreams, throwing our society into state of chaos and disguised itself as destroyer pretending societal developer and most irritatively people failed to notice its harmful effects yet.
The smartphone in question, which came into being as a result of technological advancement, since when it came, it has revamped and revolutionised the way we Carried out our activities, socially
, economically, politically culturally almost in all dimensions and reducing our intellectual capacity to the lowest eve, making us unable to think individually, relying on what we get from it and its keep penetrating into our societies, schools ..... Shouting you can't do without me.
Smartphone is becoming more problematic today globally, parents abandoned their primary responsibility to their childrens, leaving them go starved, tattered, rummaging from neighborhood to neighborhood, polluting the child wit children that lack good upbringing all because parents are so captivated by it which is due to the rainy heinous applications that it comes with. with some required internet connection while some without, and has successfully carried our attentions and exposing our secrets unknowingly.
Students today, are obsessed wit smartphone and its application taking them away frm their primary reasons for being in school which include; studies, lectures and even tests making them failed their exams, growing lower CGPA that leads to withdrawal in many occasions in various universities across the world. This becouse of the interactive application found in smartphones such as Facebook, twitter, imo, whatsapp ,etc and even some games applications found in smartphone.
Today, we do not go online but we live online carrying, fulfuling the duty of ruling elite, advertising their products for us that's so appealing and exploiting us wit our own consent even at our detriment in many uncountable occations.
There is therefore, need for urgent u-turn of ppl to re-think on the kinds of activities They engaged in with their smartphones because they have caused more harm than good.
