Examination  is a method of evaluation in most formal educational institutions and the university is not an exception. The goal or desire of every student in the university is to pass examination, and for most, to come out with First Class degree. Passing examination is not as difficult as many students take it to be, to the extent some indulge in malpractices to succede, which is not suppose to be.

Here are some important tips to take note of to pass examinations and come out with flying colours:

    Hints before exams

Have a functional plan : what do you want in the courses you are offering? You should have a mental picture of how you want your results to be. Are you targeting 4 points and above or even 5 points?

Have a resolute determination: have the mind to achieve your 'good' plans, without the mind set, you will do nothing to actualise your goals.

Do something about it : act on your plans, don't just sit down idle and have good wishes in your mind with out acting on them. As the popular saying goes 'if wishes were horses, Beggers will ride'. It is those that really take the right actions about their plan, really achieve their plans.

Be discipline: time is the scarce resources we have to manage well to achieve our plans. Do the right things at the right time.

Read the recommended materials and text books. If you want to read beyond, you can do that for your personal development, but to pass examinations, read recommended materials not unnecessary ones.

Attend lectures regularly, there are some important things the lecturer can say that might not be in the notes or materials.

       Hints during exams

Check and cross check the exam time table carefully. In fact, ask other people to be sure of the time,  the venue and the course so you don't make costly mistakes. Students have missed exams because of misinformation, so take note.

Read the instructions carefully before answering exams questions.
Do not indulge in exam malpractice, abide by all the rules of the examination.
After writing, try to cross check and proof read your work to avoid mistakes.
Submit your exams paper at the appropriate place.

In conclusion, do your best and leave the rest to God and be sure to succeed with flying colours.
